Beginning:
In this project, we were tasked with the creation of a circuit board that would be able to turn on a light when sensors would identify a paper jam as well as turning on a buzzer. When the paper is removed, the light would turn off but the buzzer would continue until a button would be pushed resetting the circuit until there was another jam.
We had three days to complete this project so, we had to use minimal gates and electronic components.

Circuits:
We used resistors in the circuit to control the flow being inputted in the circuit and to allow the circuit to function properly. The combinational logic circuit allowed the light and buzzer to function where the buzzer would continue even as the input would be a 0. It also allowed the button then to clear the circuit completely resetting it allowing it to function again. The flip flop reduced the complexity of the circuit where without it, it would make the circuit more complex by adding another segment to the circuit for each component required.
When the LED shuts off, it is no longer receiving the signal from the jam sensors. The Buzzer would remain on because its on and off only switches when the clear is activated, but it continues when the paper is removed since it can only be turned on by the sensors but can not be shut off by it.
